I'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the Sox took three out of four against the Tigers I am going to be posting again. After the depressing sweep by the Yankees I am proud to say the Sox are back on track. As of saturday I will be posting daily again. I once again would like to apologize to all of my fans for not posting it was a morning period for me and now I am healed

  1. Will - I'm back on the bandwagon - jump on up, there's plenty of room!!!

Best win of the year at Texas last night. I think this is the turning point we need as the RS race to the playoffs. The bats woke up big time last night and I wouldn't be surprised if we do some damage in TX this w/end, especially if we can keep our pitching staff off the base paths.

If you think about it, Youk's 5 game suspension is keeping Lowell and Martinez on the field at the same time which is a very good thing. When Youk gets back he is going to be well rested and will come out of the chute hitting up a storm. Gonzo's back to nail down ss which is definitely an upgrade (although I'm a little concerned that with him and Veritek in the same lineup we're giving the opponents two sure outs).

I'm also getting the distinct feeling that our starting pitching is going to be very strong for the final 10 weeks of the season -- Wakefield will be back in the lineup at the end of next week (he had the most wins on the team when he went down!) and the wildcard is Dice-K. Call me nuts, but this guy is really not as bad a pitcher as he has been painted by the media this year. He definitely screwed up and was not prepared for the beginning of the season, but he subsequently lost a lot of face during this debacle. This affair has got to massively embarrassing for someone of his stature in Japan and as a result I bet he's going to try and re-establish himself as quickly as possible this year. He has a lot to lose if he doesn't get back in the swing quickly and may be a very pleasant surprise at the end of this year.

I'm back in the saddle - go Sox!!!
